B. Braun to Promote Medical Device Contract Manufacturing at 2016 Medical Design and Manufacturing West Conference
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- B. Braun’s OEM Division (http://www.bbraunoem.com) will showcase its contract manufacturing services and medical device components at the 2016 Medical Design and Manufacturing West (MD&M) conference and exhibition, February 9-11, 2016, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
B. Braun (Booth #2401) will exhibit products and components from several categories: fluid administration and management products, admixture devices, interventional accessories, catheters and custom kits. The booth will include a hands-on valve station that will showcase the company’s portfolio of valves, including normally closed, low pressure, high pressure, in-line, dual check, aspiration, trumpet and needle-free configurations.
An established leader in design and manufacturing of both standard and custom valves, the company will showcase normally closed large-bore low-pressure check valves designed to prevent the backflow of fluids into the primary IV container during piggyback hookup or bolus injection. The normally closed valves open automatically when pressure is applied. They are designed for the intermittent injection of fluids while preventing back flow. They feature a crack pressure of 22 inches of water maximum and a back pressure of 30 PSI. A female luer lock option is also available.
The 2016 MD&M West event (http://mdmwest.mddionline.com/) will assemble thousands of medical design and manufacturing professionals. The event bills itself as the nation's largest medical device event with more than 2,000 exhibiting suppliers and a selection of over 160 educational opportunities ranging from engineering basics to executive strategy.
