Badger State Sheriffs’ Association Partners with Prepared Response, Inc. to Enhance Emergency Response across Wisconsin
Bruce, WI (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The Badger State Sheriffs’ Association, Inc. (BSSA) is expanding their community partnership with County Sheriffs across Wisconsin by assisting with the deployment of the latest in digital technology that helps communities and first responders better prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The BSSA has partnered with Prepared Response, Inc. (PRI), based in Kirkland, WA to provide the robust and affordable Rapid Responder® system to schools, hospitals, places of worship and other commercial facilities in the state.
“This system facilitates the gathering of emergency preparedness documents that can be instantly accessed by first responders and those dispatching emergency responders to the scene of an emergency,” said Dean Meyer, BSSA Executive Director. “If or when an emergency is reported at a specific location, the 9-1-1 dispatcher easily accesses on-site information and also gains the ability to monitor real-time events or actions happening on-site before emergency responders arrive on scene.”
The number one goal of the BSSA is to assist each County Sheriff with protecting the public and maintaining safe communities. By leveraging PRI’s technology, BSSA can further enhance safety for their communities. The deployment of Rapid Responder will provide instant access to comprehensive facility data to Sheriff’s staff and other first responders in the field or at the 9-1-1 center. The system also makes pre-planning and collaboration much easier and accessible through PRI’s secure and simple-to-use system.
