Baha Mar Names Daniel Garrow as Chief Information Officer
NASSAU, The Bahamas (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- Baha Mar Ltd., which is developing the $3.5 billion Baha Mar integrated gaming resort project in Nassau, The Bahamas, today announced the appointment of Daniel Garrow as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the luxury resort.
Mr. Garrow has more than three decades of experience in the field of information technology (IT) and has held senior IT positions within the gaming and hospitality industry at resorts throughout the United Sates. During his tenure as Senior Vice President of Information Systems and Chief Information Officer at Mohegan Sun, he was named one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders.

In his role as CIO at Baha Mar, Mr. Garrow will be an integral part of the operations of the resort and work with the Chief Operating Officer, department directors, hotel brands and third-party operators to ensure that Baha Mar maintains the highest standard of IT systems and networks across the resort’s campus.

Mr. Garrow has been well recognized for his contribution to the long-term growth and development of information technology within gaming and hospitality. He is a facilitator of Gaming & Leisure Magazine’s CIO Roundtable, an annual gaming industry meeting. He also serves as a member of the magazine’s Advisory Council and has contributed myriad articles to the publication.
Mr. Garrow was the inaugural winner of the Phil LaBelle Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Gaming & Leisure Magazine’s Board of Directors and its CIO Roundtable members “in recognition of drive, leadership and accomplishments in the gaming and hospitality industry through a lifetime of dedication.”
