Baker & Baker Insurance Agency Joins the Food For All Organization in Chico Area Charity Drive to Feed Hungry Families
Chico, CA (PRWEB) June 21, 2017 -- Baker & Baker Insurance Agency, a family owned firm that provides asset protection services and personal financial consultations to families and entrepreneurs throughout northern California, is joining Chico-based nonprofit Food For All in a charity drive to provide nutritious meals to families in need.
The Food For All organizations works with the North State Food Bank as well as Chico community members to distribute regular meals to families and individuals living with food insecurity. Meals are stored in bags that can feed families of five people, and are given out on a weekly basis to any and all hungry residents in the region who are unable to feed themselves.
“The sad truth is that our nation wastes roughly $160 billion per year in food, which is why it’s important that we all pitch in and help organizations like Food For All to ensure no one in our community goes hungry,” says Kevin Baker, agency owner of Baker & Baker Insurance Agency.
To raise awareness and support for the Food For All organization, the Baker team is reaching out to local families, business owners, and community leaders by sharing information over social media and email.
