Baker Electric Inc. Receives AGC Construction Safety Excellence Award Three Consecutive Years
Escondido, CA (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 -- Baker Electric Inc. is pleased to announce it has received a 2013 Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) San Diego Chapter Inc. Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA). Baker Electric was honored with First Place in the Specialty Contractor Division - 500,001 to 700,000 work-hour category. Baker Electric has now won the first place award in this category for three consecutive years -- 2011, 2012 and 2013. The current Baker Electric safety entry has moved on to AGC national competition.
The San Diego safety awards were presented at the 2014 AGC San Diego Chapter Installation of Officers, Directors, AGC Membership Awards and Safety Awards event on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
The AGC’s CSEA program is the industry’s elite safety excellence awards program for construction companies of all sizes and occupational divisions. It recognizes companies who excel at safety performance and who have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs. The purpose of the award is to recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. CSEA closely examines each candidate's commitment to safety and occupational health management and risk control. Judges look for evidence of company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
The AGC San Diego Chapter CSEA selection process covered qualitative measures, program evaluation checklists, and qualitative essays. In its entry, Baker Electric Inc. demonstrated outstanding safety and loss prevention management including risk controls, safety training, work site hazard identification and safety program innovations.
