Ball Janik LLP Ranked as one of Portland, Oregon’s Most Diverse Law Firms
PORTLAND, Ore. and ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) March 19, 2018 -- Ball Janik LLP’s Portland office was ranked as one of the most diverse law firms in the Portland, Oregon Metro area.
The Portland Business Journal analyzed data from a survey it conducted of Portland metro-area law firms. According to the Portland Business Journal, the “percent share of women and racial minorities among total local attorneys and total partners were added up to determine each firm’s Diversity Ranking.”
Since its inception in 1982, women have had a strong presence at Ball Janik. The firm is proud that 25% of its attorneys are women and that 20% are partners. Of the firm’s attorneys, 20% are minorities, 7% of which are partners.
Throughout the year Ball Janik supports Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS) and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) by sponsoring events, volunteering on committees and boards, and encouraging its lawyers to participate in these organizations.
