BAMMA USA to Host Two Live Events at The 2014 Fit Expo Southern California

The always popular BAMMA USA Guest Ring Girl Contest returns on Saturday, January 25, 2014 with the Live Finale taking place at 1:30pm on the event stage located inside the MMA Pavilion area of the Fit Expo Southern California. Fit Expo attendees are invited to watch as the top 20 finalists make their case to win the contest and have the privilege of performing as the Guest Ring Girl for “Badbeat 12 presented by Budweiser” on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the World Famous Commerce Casino (Commerce, CA). Model/Actress/BAMMA USA Lead Ring Girl Pamela Jean Noble will serve as host for the show. Interested contestants can register online by going to http://www.BammaUSA.com and clicking on the “Ring Girl Contest” photo in the right hand column of the homepage.
The online form asks for contact information, a short bio, and up to 3 photographs for submission. The Top 10 Finalists from all online submissions will compete live at the 2014 Fit Expo Southern California on Saturday, January 25, 2014, where the winner will be selected. Cash and prizes totaling $500 will be awarded to the winner and runner-up of the contest. Check-in time for all finalists will be at 12PM. Individual photo shoots for the finalists will start promptly at 12:15PM.
The 2014 Fit Expo Southern California takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center located next to Staples Center. The online submissions begin on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. BAMMA USA’s professional MMA fight series, ‘Badbeat’, has seen marketable increase in popularity and exposure by selling out their previous events. BAMMA USA Open Fighter Tryouts
BAMMA USA will host open tryouts for aspiring MMA fighters on Saturday, January 25, 2014 as part of The Fit Expo Southern California at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Registration will begin at 9AM PST with the tryouts starting at 10AM PST.
Participants are required to bring a mouth piece, protective cup and MMA or boxing gloves. Professional fighters must also be unrestricted free agents and have no contractual obligations to any other combat sports promotions. All weight classes, male and female, are welcome. Tryouts will consist of one-on-one grappling, a striking/mitt session and an intense cardio test. There will not be any live MMA sparring.
Potential fighters will have their performance reviewed by BAMMA USA personnel to determine which fighters are fit for future BAMMA USA fight card openings (as early as ‘Badbeat 12 presented by Budweiser’ on March 28th, at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA).
