Bar-Z Honored as a Member of 2014 LSU 100
Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Bar-Z has been honored as one of the 2014 LSU 100: Fastest Growing Tiger Businesses for the third time. The LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute announced Bar-Z as 49th in the ranking of company growth at the honoree luncheon and award ceremony held in Baton Rouge on Friday October 24.

Selection for the 2014 LSU 100 is a competitive process, where companies are individually measured on their compounded annual growth rate from 2010 through 2012 by Postlethwaite & Netterville, the independent accounting firm of the LSU 100. Bar-Z was honored in the past as a member of the LSU 100 in 2011 and 2013.

Additionally, Bar-Z met the following requirements for inclusion in the LSU 100:
- Must have been in business for five years or more
- Must have verifiable revenues of $100,000 in 2010
- Must have a former LSU student as owner of at least 50 percent of the company, as an active founder, or as chief executive officer, president or managing partner
- Must operate in a manner consistent with the mission of LSU and SEI
Bar-Z is dedicated to giving back to the LSU community. The company has hosted multiple LSU students from the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute Fellows Program in the E.J. Ourso College of Business for summer internships in entrepreneurship.
