Barbara Rogenmoser’s New Picture Book Takes Kids On a Fun-filled Jungle Adventure
Louisiana (PRWEB) November 27, 2013 -- Author Barbara Rogenmoser takes young readers everywhere on a fun and exciting adventure in “Rose’s Jungle.” Children’s imaginations will be engaged by this vibrantly-illustrated and fun-filled educational reading experience which shows them how to use their creativity as they go on a carefree safari of wonder and whimsy.
Readers will tag along with young Barbara in her wonderful escapades in “Rose’s Jungle,” a journey that begins when her mother leaves her to her own devices. Barbara uses her imagination to turn a simple garden into a jungle, and the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary. She then walks, skips, and runs into the jungle to discover new things. Readers will find out what Barbara discovers on this particular day as she plays in “Rose’s Jungle” and experience the feeling of being young, alive and happy through the different things that the young adventurer sees and enjoys in the jungle.
A child’s imagination is a wonderful thing and the author believes that adults need to nurture this part of growing up because it can make the lives of grownups magical as well. “Rose’s Jungle” will not only teach children about nature, but also show them how to use their creativity for playful purposes.
“Rose’s Jungle” will be featured at the 2013 New York State Reading Association Book Exhibit in Albany, N.Y., on October 27-30, 2013. For more information, log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.

About the Author
Barbara Rogenmoser was born and raised in rural Louisiana. At the age of 6, her father passed away, leaving her to be raised by a single parent mother. Often times while her mother was at work, Rogenmoser was left in the care of family members. One of those family members was an elderly aunt, Rose, who she loved dearly. Aunt Rose helped nurture the creativeness that young Rogenmoser found while growing up loving to read, write, paint and knit. Rogenmoser went on to college to earn her degree as a teacher, where she encouraged her students to “find their creativity” as well. She has been married to her husband, Robby, for 31 years and has four children, three grandchildren, two dogs and a cat. She still lives in Louisiana, where she continues to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
