Barcan Woodward’s Charity & Community Work Recognised by Award
(PRWEB UK) 30 October 2013 -- Barcan Woodward has been recognised as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Firm of the Year at the 2013 Bristol Law Society’s annual awards. The award is presented to the firm who has shown commitment to supporting their local community and projects.
In the past 12 months we have provided pro bono advice to the Bedminster Town Team on their Business Improvement District (BID) proposal. We have also established Barcan Woodward Community Law where we provide help, guidance and support to members of the public who are managing their own basic legal affairs themselves.
In addition, Barcan Woodward employees have taken part in a range of activities, including half marathons and walking barefooted across hot coals, to raise funds for two Bristol charities.
