Bargain Computers and Electronics to Donate Several Computers to Local Organization
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 -- Bargain Computers and Electronics (Bargain), a computers and electronics remarketing company, has made a donation of computers to a local non-profit organization in Clearwater, FL – The Impact Zone.
The Impact Zone has just begun its journey in opening its doors to the community by helping underprivileged children in Pinellas County. This is a safe environment that provides at-risk youth a place to go after school and participate in many different activities.
Bargain’s donation includes desktop computers, monitors, keyboards and mice – everything needed to reap the benefits of technology. The computers are professionally refurbished by Bargain’s expert staff and have a genuine copy of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system pre-installed.
“Organizations like The Impact Zone are not easy to build - you need help from the community to get the program going. Without support, it’s hard for these organizations to focus on their mission. We are happy to donate certified pre-owned computers--today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders,” said Tiffini Schwarzkopf, Executive Director of Marketing for Bargain.
The facility’s offerings include: video games, pool tables, ping-pong, GED classes, tutoring, job skill training, and now a computer lab thanks to the donation from Bargain. All programs are geared toward helping and equipping young people to be more productive members of society.
“We are very grateful to Bargain for their donation,” said Joellen Waller, President of The Impact Zone. She added, “One of the major activities we’ve wanted to offer is computer stations. These children have homework that requires access to a computer--in most cases they do not have one at home. Computers will aid in researching and studying for school, job searching and training. Today’s world becomes more tech-centric every day and we are now in a position to help more kids succeed beyond the classroom.”
