Barnes and Noble, the Unabomber, and the FBI
Palisades, NY (PRWEB) August 01, 2014 -- Together again for the first time in nineteen years, the Unabomber and the FBI share the environment in the new book that is pulling in the crowds at the Barnes and Noble bookstores in California. The co-authors of the book, Jim Freeman, Terry Turchie, and Max Noel, the three FBI agents who broke many of the traditional FBI rules along the way that led to the final capture of the terrorist, bring those days alive, explore the mind of the terrorist through his own words, and then discuss terrorism in America today.
The crowds love it, and so do the people who run the Barnes and Noble stores. Shannon Skinner, the Community Relations Manager at the Antioch store, said about the event they hosted on July 26: “The book signing was one of the best we have had during my tenure here in the store. The crowd asked many questions about the Unabomber and the status of terrorism in America today.”
The crowds were equally enthusiastic at the Roseville store on July 19, with a near sell-out of books urging Nathan Spradlin, the CRM, to comment, “I know the audience enjoyed the event thoroughly.” And in San Jose at the Stevens Creek Blvd., store manager Sue Ligon said, "The feedback from the audience on the presentation of the authors was great, I know everyone enjoyed their time, and we would love to host the authors later in the summer or early fall for yet another signing of their book."
The enthusiasm for the book appears to be contagious. The interest in the book and the events are receiving widespread exposure in an upcoming book signing at the Barnes and Noble in Fairfield, CA on Saturday, August 23, 2014. CRM Marco Berrios has secured the help of the Fairfield Public Safety Academy and the Solano County Sheriff's Office in supporting the event. The three authors will be touring the entire California coastline, and it appears that the crowds will be growing as they go. Next stop: Gilroy, CA on Saturday, August 9.
