Baron Machine Company Announces Efforts to Bring Machining Talent to the Lakes Region in 2015

Through a combination of measures, the family owned business has contributed to efforts focused on both continuing education for skilled workers and raising awareness for the importance of skilled technicians in the state.
Following success with programs in 2014, Baron Machine has announced continued support for the Lakes Region Community College Advanced Manufacturing program. For the program, Baron Machine Company worked with Lakes Region Community College to develop training programs focused on teaching NH students the essential skills required by industrial businesses operating on a global scale.
Regarding the program, Baron Machine Company President, Jeremy Baron has reported that renewed interest in technical education by NH students has directly impacted his company in the form of fresh young hires to take part in critical projects ranging from CNC turning for critical product components to fabrications for the healthcare industry, the military, and beyond.
In addition to initiatives taking place at Baron Machine Company to attract new machining and manufacturing talent, the company has also become involved in a number of programs dedicated to bringing more talented workers to the lakes region of New Hampshire, including Belknap County Economic Development Committee’s (Belknap EDC) newest talent attraction initiative, focused on “bringing home” young, skilled professionals who grew up in the area.
