Prince George, British Columbia (PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- Mike Godfrey, Prince George resident and heavy-duty mechanic is the newest member of Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centre team, British Columbia’s largest franchise of auto service centres. Mike is excited to bring the established Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centre brand to the growing community of Prince George where he’ll be providing full automotive service. “Pretty much anything you can think of between the front and rear bumper, we're here to take care of you."
The Prince George Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centre is conveniently located at 1795 Victoria Street in Prince George, where customers can shop or do errands while Mike and his team take care of their vehicles. Mike has an extensive background working on vehicles, “Since I was eight years old I remember helping my Dad bleed the brakes in our carport. I was always the guy my friends would come to, to fix their cars.” Twelve years ago, Mike began his career as a heavy-duty mechanic, “I got into heavy-duty mechanics because I loved working on cars. Now I'm excited to be getting back into the automotive world again."
As a dedicated husband and father of three, Mike has a love for the environment and community of Prince George, "Maybe it's because we have seven months of winter, I don't know, but we're always there to help our neighbours and our neighbours are always there to help out. I wouldn't ever want to leave (Prince George)." Also, as an avid outdoorsman, Mike has a deep understanding of the challenges that the climate and rugged geography make on vehicles, "In the winter, the roads are terrible. It takes a toll on the suspension, on your braking systems, your whole vehicle gets punished."
Mike is looking forward to providing honest and excellent service to the community he loves, "We do inspections on vehicles for free, we'll put your vehicle on the hoist for 20 minutes to half an hour so we know exactly what the repair is. If we find that a small repair or no repair is needed, maybe a bolt is loose or something, we're just going to take care of you and send you on your way. We're not out to nickel and dime our customers, it's a small town, and we want to take care of them."
“I am honest almost to a fault. So I'm going to be able to tell my customers what needs to be done now, and why, and I'll be able to tell them what can wait. So a customer can walk out of my shop knowing what they need to plan for in the future, and to be able to financially prepare for that."
