BCNY’s 11th Annual Independent Boarding School Fair
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- The Boys’ Club of New York, the city’s oldest organization focused solely on preparing boys and young men to achieve their full potential, is proud to announce its 11th Annual Independent Boarding School Fair at the Elbridge T. Gerry, Jr. Clubhouse on May 7th from 4:30 – 7pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Over 50 independent boarding and day schools will be represented at the fair, including Deerfield Academy, Loomis Chaffee School, Lawrenceville School, Woodberry Forest School, Church Farms School, the Masters School, Peddie School, Perkiomen School, Trinity, Poly Prep, and Berkley Carroll.
Representatives from these and other schools will be on site to answer questions about applications, financial aid, and student life. This event is open to boys and girls, members and non-members alike.

About BCNY’s Independent School Placement (ISP) Program
The ISP Program is an independent boarding and day school preparatory program that helps place 55 Boys’ Club members per year into independent day and boarding schools and competitive high schools, nationwide. One of the oldest programs of its kind, since 1957 over 1,800 participants have attended independent schools, and nearly all have gone on to accredited colleges and universities. The program puts equal emphasis on academic preparation, enrollment and retention, supporting participants to succeed in an academically rigorous independent school environment, and providing year-round mentorship and support through post-secondary enrollment.
