beachBUB USA Marks its First Tradeshow Appearance at Surf Expo in Orlando for the 2015 Buying Season
Colfax, NC (PRWEB) September 11, 2014 -- beachBUB USA attended its first tradeshow expo this month in Orlando, FL, featuring new and upgraded products, the beachBUB® Ultra and the beachBUB® Umbrella. The tradeshow came at the end of the beach season for beachBUB USA but was the first of the buying season for resorts, beach stores and large retailers. “We were exposed to people and companies that we would normally never have been able to get in contact with,” said President Bill Schermerhorn. He continued, “the Surf Expo was great in bringing together the kind of people that were very interested in what we have to offer in such a short amount of time and that’s exactly what we need as a company just starting out in this industry.”
The Orlando Surf Expo is known as the longest running and largest boardsports beach/resort lifestyle tradeshow in the world with over 2,600 booths and 26,000 attendees in the three-day show. The expo attracts specialty buyers from all over the world and all across the U.S. This posed a perfect setup for beachBUB USA and their introduction into the retail marketplace. The expo proved instrumental in bringing the beachBUB® and retailers together. “We are very excited about the contacts made and interest that came about from the expo overall and have great confidence in what’s to come for upcoming trade shows,” stated Marketing Director Sarah Schermerhorn. The company is still in its first beach season and will begin the process of setting up retailers for the upcoming season beginning next year.
beachBUB USA is currently in transition to Southwest Florida for the fall and winter seasons.
