Beacon Consulting Group Expands Management Team
Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 10, 2014 -- Beacon Consulting Group, (Beacon) a leading management consulting firm, announces three new additions to the management team as it continues its growth and expansion in the investment management industry. Francis Corbett and Mark Spanos have joined as Managing Directors and Melissa Rhim has been promoted to Managing Director. Their responsibilities include leading client engagements, business development, and driving strategic initiatives. The expansion of the management team complements the growth of the West Coast office which launched in 2013.

Fran Corbett has rejoined Beacon from Harvard Management Company where he was a Senior Vice President of Accounting and Performance. In this role, Corbett had full management responsibility for the Accounting and Performance Groups reporting directly to the CFO. Corbett brings over 25 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and operational roles in the investment management industry. He has also held senior global operations roles at Investors Bank & Trust and was a Senior Manager in the Financial Services practice of Deloitte.
Mark Spanos joins Beacon from SimCorp where he was responsible for selling SimCorp Dimension’s suite of products to prospective and existing clients across North America. Previously, Spanos was Accounting Product Manager at Eagle Investment Systems where he was responsible for global fund accounting product strategy, and also held several sales roles with a focus on Eagle’s suite of investment accounting, performance, and data management applications, including Eagle STAR and PACE. He has also held operations roles at State Street Corporation and managed the implementation of over 300 mutual funds onto SSC’s technology platforms.
