Beacon Transport Announces Driver Pay Increase
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- Nashville-based Beacon Transport has enhanced its driver incentive programs by announcing a pay scale increase set to take effect Saturday, November 1. The overall impact of this raise will be a 9 percent increase per mile.

Under the new plan, Beacon Transport will raise the pay per mile based on years of experience. The new rates are all follows:
Drivers with five or more years of tractor trailer experience will receive 38 cents per mile.
Driver with three to five years of tractor trailer experience will receive 37 cents per mile.
Drivers with two to three years of tractor trailer experience will receive 36 cents per mile.
The rate per mile will cap at 44 cents.
In addition to experienced-based salary increases, Beacon Transport offers drivers 0.005 cents performance-based pay raises every six months as well as a quarterly fuel economy/idle bonus of 2 cents per mile on all miles paid during the quarter.
