Becoming a Female Entrepreneur Just Got Easier in 2015
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 04, 2015 -- Educating women is definitely a rising trend in America, and more organizations and groups continue to join this trend! For years women have been trained and supported by such organizations as SCORE, STEM, and even community colleges across the nation. SCORE, having over 11,000 volunteers in 300 chapters across the U.S., mentors women entrepreneurs and provides business advice. STEM provides education to women and trains them for the workforce in the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Well over 57% of U.S. women are now part of the majority leading the blue collar workforce. SCORE and STEM have done their part in mentoring and educating women and the WGC Gateway Program is taking the next step up!
The WGC Gateway Program has just been announced by the First Lady of Entrepreneurs and Founder of The Women Of Global Change, Shellie Hunt. The WGC Gateway Program is a place where women can become entrepreneurs and business owners in 48 hours (Yes, 48 hours).
After Shellie Hunt attended the World Affairs Council this June, and also the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. with Seth Harris, the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Hunt decided it is time for more women business owners. "I was excited to attend the meetings and learn there is such a calling for more women business owners. The WGC Gateway Program will do just that, providing the next step up! There is such a need in America for women business owners, and it is time for this movement to begin," says Hunt.
Hunt explains the WGC Gateway Program stating, "So much of our country is founded by entrepreneurs. 97% actually! Thanks to the WGC Gateway Program, women across the nation will be mentored, educated and empowered as they go into business for themselves. This unique program provides service to women of all race, creed, religion, circumstance, and status to support them in becoming part-time or full time business owners and entrepreneurs. We are excited to gain momentum!"
The WGC Gateway Program not only engages and supports women as contributors to society but also in the workforce. WGC’s Gateway Program engages all aspects from self-esteem, image, communication, business strategy, business plan, negotiation, product development, to marketing and exposure.
"It is an honor for amazing women to be joining forces! Because when amazing women join forces, it is more than just a mission, it is a movement," says Hunt. "The WGC 90-day Program provides every member with opportunity, tangible skills, and techniques, even opening their own company’s as they literally go beyond and open the doors to service."
The women's equality movement of 50-50 by 2020 was launched in 2010, and now in 2015 the launch of the WGC Gateway Program leads the trend of educating women and women's equality.
Partnering with the WGC Gateway Program include such prestigious organizations as NAFE (National Association of Female Entrepreneurs) and MWM (Million Women Mentors). WGC is inviting women, all individuals and corporations, who would like to participate and/or support the diversity of women in business to play an active part to join in.
