Belle + Beau, Baby Boutique in Downtown Park Ridge, IL, Announces Grand Opening Nov. 15-17
Park Ridge, Ill. (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- Raffles, product demonstrations, photos with a Disney character, and a Tiny Tailgate Party are among the activities scheduled Nov. 15-17 at the grand opening of Belle + Beau (http://www.bellebeaubaby.com), a new specialty store in downtown Park Ridge.
Three days of festivities at the store, located at 40 N. Northwest Hwy. in the Shops of Uptown, kicks off Nov. 15 with a Stokke stroller and high chair demonstration and product raffle between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. In addition, Belle + Beau will donate 20% of all book purchases that day to the Park Ridge Public Library.
On Nov. 16, children who visit in their favorite costumes between 11 a.m. and noon can have their photos taken with a surprise Disney character. Adults can participate in a second product raffle.
The grand opening wraps up Nov. 17 with a Tiny Tailgate Party from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Young football fans wearing jerseys will receive a special treat, and adults can participate in a third product raffle.
Belle + Beau is designed for new and expecting parents, grandparents, godparents and others seeking distinctive products and gifts for newborns through age two, according to Mina Biggs, owner. The former financial services human resources executive created the “baby boutique” based on her own experiences shopping and outfitting a nursery for her now preschool-age daughter.
“Our goal was to create a magical baby and child décor shopping experience with a unique selection of stylish, environmentally friendly treasures, services and guest experiences that evoke warm thoughts of childhood, play, comfort and love,” Biggs says.
To that end, the 2,100-square-foot store showcases a vast array of quality apparel, strollers, bedding, bath products, lighting, wall art and toys representing current trends for the nursery and playroom. Featured lines include 4Moms, Biscotti/Kate Mack, Little Giraffe, Lulla Smith, Phil & Teds and Stokke.
Belle + Beau also offers services to enhance the customer experience, including a gift registry for newborns, complimentary gift wrapping, monogramming, and a staff that is fully trained in both the products and lifestyle needs of new and expecting parents.
Biggs envisions that the store will become a gathering place for parents and their children. As such, she plans to add classes and special events to appeal to both groups. “We want to be a trusted consultant to a new generation of mothers who appreciate our attention to detail as they embark on the most important chapter of their lives,” she says.
Belle + Beau is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays; and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
