Belly Continues Record Growth, Hires Top Talent
Chicago, Ill. (PRWEB) February 10, 2015 -- Amid strong company growth, Belly, the industry leading customer loyalty and marketing platform, announced today the appointment of three key executives -- Kelly Seeman, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales, Fred Lee, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Daniel Gloede, Executive Vice President of Finance.
Kelly Seeman will lead the Enterprise Sales team, responsible for all enterprise accounts ranging from quick service restaurant (QSR) chains to convenience stores like 7-Eleven. Seeman joins Belly after more than 11 years at Google where she was the National Head of Restaurants and led a team focused on the QSR, fast casual and dining sectors.
“Kelly is joining Belly at a pivotal time as we continue to grow across North America,” said Julio Bruno, Belly COO. “Our loyalty platform is now available at more than 10,000 merchants nationwide, including 3,000 7-Eleven locations. As we look to expand our strategic partnerships with multi-national chains, Kelly’s leadership will enable us to help businesses of any size develop more personal relationships with consumers to drive loyalty, digital connectivity and customer acquisition.”
“Where Belly is in its life cycle now strikingly reminds me of my early days at Google,” said Seeman. “We were selling a product to small and medium-sized businesses that we also wanted to evolve for enterprise clients. Belly’s success with 7-Eleven speaks volumes about what we can do for other corporate and franchised businesses.”
In addition, Belly announced today that Fred Lee, who came to the company in April 2014 from Enova, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Engineering and will join the executive team. Daniel Gloede has also been promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance. Gloede had been Belly’s Senior Vice President of Finance since July 2012.
These executive appointments come on the heels of Julio Bruno joining Belly as Chief Operating Officer in October 2014. Prior to Belly, Bruno was Global Vice President of Sales at TripAdvisor, where he led TripAdvisor for Business, a dedicated startup division. Under Bruno’s leadership, Business Listings grew to more than 70,000 international subscribers, creating a new and important revenue stream for TripAdvisor.
In just a short time, Bruno is already making a difference at Belly. The company has hired 25 employees in the last three months and is now looking to hire several others in all functions in Chicago and nationwide.
“We have strong leadership and we continue to see opportunities for growth in key markets,” said Logan LaHive, Belly Founder and CEO. “The addition of these talented professionals enables us to continue providing the highest levels of customized service to both existing and new customers as our business grows.”
