Bench CEO Ian Crosby Makes Forbes “30 Under 30”
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) January 04, 2016 -- Forbes magazine today announced Ian Crosby has clinched a top spot on its 2016 “30 Under 30” list. Crosby, 29, is the Co-founder and CEO of Bench, the tech company automating accounting tasks for small businesses. Recognized for the advancements the company has made in the accounting space and for the work he’s done for fellow entrepreneurs, Crosby took top spot in the Enterprise Technology category.
“We chose a historically unsexy industry, albeit one ripe for advancement. It’s thrilling that others are as excited about what we’re doing as we are” said Crosby.
After launching out of TechStars NYC in 2012, Bench has grown from a team of four founders to 200 in-house employees. When asked about the key to Bench’s success, Crosby said, “It’s simple: solve a problem for someone. Do that properly and you’ll be in business for a long time.”
The company’s focus for 2016 includes new service rollouts, increased automation and a launch of the Bench mobile app. Crosby plans to continue on-boarding 10 new employees a month to meet demand.
