Benchmark from Pioneer Technology Group LLC Approved by the Florida Court Technology Committee for use as Judicial Bench Viewer
Sanford, FL (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- Pioneer Technology Group LLC announced today that its Judicial Bench Viewer, Benchmark, has been approved for use in the state of Florida by the Florida Court Technology Committee (FCTC), a standards setting body of the Florida Supreme Court. This is the third version of the CAPS standard and Pioneer has been approved under all of the previous versions.
Chris Stewart, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pioneer said, “our team has worked very hard to achieve compliance with these standards and will monitor the committee’s work to insure continued compliance. The standards are helpful in allowing Judges and Judicial Assistants to have paperless access to court files while delivering a consistent technology experience across Florida courts.”
Pioneer Technology Group presented its enhanced viewer to the committee on October 13th, 2015. The committee unanimously approved the Benchmark Judicial Viewer later that same month. Pioneer is one of only a small group of vendors that are certified for Florida’s courts. The Benchmark viewer is currently in use in many of Florida’s courts, additionally Benchmark has become very popular nationwide and is being used by all types of courts covering a wide range of jurisdictions.
CAPS is defined as a computer application designed for in-court and in-chambers use by trial judges or their staff to access and use electronic case files and other data sources in the course of managing cases, scheduling and conducting hearings, adjudicating disputed issues, and recording and reporting judicial activity.
