Rochester, New York (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- Benefit Resource, Inc. takes the pre-tax benefit account experience to a new level with the release of BRiAlerts – notifications which provide real-time balance, transaction and adjudication information for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs) and Commuter Benefit Accounts.

Participants can now elect to receive a variety of notifications, via text message and/or email, which will alert them to activity on their account(s). Deposit alerts will let participants know exactly when funds are posted to their accounts, along with the updated balance amount. Potential duplicate transaction notices will assist in protecting account funds by alerting cardholders whenever a duplicate transaction is suspected. Card purchase and denial alerts will inform participants as transactions occur. As an industry first, the card purchase alert will provide real-time adjudication which indicates if an FSA or HRA transaction may require additional documentation.
