Benzer Pharmacy’s CEO Manish Patel is Named an EY Entrepreneur of The Year® 2016 Finalist
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) May 09, 2016 -- EY has announced that Manish Patel, CEO of Benzer Pharmacy is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of The Year® 2016 Award in Florida.
The awards program, which is celebrating its 30th year, recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Manish Patel co-founded Benzer Pharmacy in 2009. Benzer Pharmacy is a chain of independent retail pharmacies that focuses on the customer’s needs by offering over-the-counter products, health consultations, and personalized care. Benzer’s mission is to make a difference in the community.
Manish oversees core business management and development of the company including execution and financial management of all the 50 plus pharmacies. He understands the importance of helping make every state the best place to enjoy a life full of opportunity.
As a creative and innovative CEO, Manish introduced Medication Synchronization (MedSync) in all Benzer Pharmacies, a program that has currently gained a foothold in the industry based on its ability to improve adherence and script retention through greater patient convenience. Studies have shown that med sync programs have demonstrated an increase of refills for chronic medication from an average of six to seven times per year to eight to ten times per year.

This is Benzer Pharmacy’s second earned accolade this year. Early in the year, Benzer Pharmacy Chief Financial Officer was named finalist at the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2016 CFO of the Year award. Manish Patel was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala on June 9, 2016, at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 19, 2016. The awards are the culminating event of the EY Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
