Berkeley College Art Gallery to Showcase Ken Jones Photography October 9
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 23, 2013 -- Art Gallery Coordinator Robert Keiber, has asked photographer, Ken Jones, of Ken Jones Photography – Fultonstudio, to showcase a part of his portfolio for the Berkeley College Art Gallery, in midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station. Snippets of Jones' portfolio, which will be displayed on October 3, are from a series called “Ein In the Air.” Jones will select several images from the series to showcase.
Jones, a professional photographer whose three-decade career has had him predominantly shooting photography for commercial clients, has largely focused his experience around the fashion and beauty industry. Many professional photographers compile portfolios that emphasize commercial photography with a smaller emphasis on artistic beauty.
However, Jones has taken a different approach throughout his career. While he does offer more unique corporate and actor headshots, his emphasis is evidently influenced by his interest in the fine-art side of photography – an interest, that has driven him to do many personal artistic and creative projects; some of which, have received recent award recognition.
The images that Jones will display show a female model named, Ein Tan, which capture her jumping in the setting of the photographs. In a way, Jones seems to have made her image ‘float in the air.’ Tentatively, they will be available to view in the Berkeley College Art Gallery in midtown Manhattan beginning Wednesday, October 9 from 5:30-7:00 pm for the opening reception.
