Best Drug Rehabilitation Interviews Recovery Team Members in Recent “Meet The Staff” Video Series
Manistee, Michigan (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- Best Drug Rehabilitation, a holistic treatment center for substance abuse located in western Michigan, has released two new videos in their “Meet The Staff” Video Series. These staff testimonials showcase the care and compassion that the recovery team has for the patients during their stay at the facility and, in the case of one interview with an Aftercare Specialist, for quite a while after their graduation.
“Our highly specialized team members make a personal investment in the success of every single patient at our recovery center,” commented Best Drug Rehabilitation founder Per Wickstrom. “We have made a great effort to step away from the clinical setting that might be expected at a substance abuse treatment facility. A big part of that comes from the comfort and empathy that our staff shows to our patients. The personal connections that our patients find with our team members create a sense of family, and give our patients a feeling of home away from home.”
The Staff at Best Drug Rehabilitation
In the video interviews, which are available on the Best Drug Rehabilitation YouTube channel, the staff members featured explain what their daily responsibilities are and what they enjoy most out of their work. The passion and dedication that they have for their positions at the treatment center are evident in as they tell the viewer, in their own words, how they feel as if they are truly making a difference in the lives of the patients that they interact with on a regular basis.
Brandi Kemp is part of the Security team at Best Drug Rehabilitation, but knows that she is much more than that to many of the individuals that she comes into contact with throughout her day. As the patients progress in their recovery, emotions run high, and many times they have trouble dealing with them in a healthy and positive manner. “We all play a part in consoling and talking to them, and helping them express what’s going on,” she explains. “I’ve learned a lot about people. I feel like I’m really helping.”
Julie Marks is part of the extensive Best Drug Rehabilitation Aftercare Department, which helps the patient to develop a plan for transitioning back into daily life after they graduate, including making sober living arrangements, job placement, and locating local support groups, and more. “When you call them after they leave,” she says, “and they’ve got 3 months clean, 6 months clean, it’s just such a good feeling. And then they’re turning around and helping other people, too.”
Best Drug Rehabilitation takes a different approach to the treatment of those struggling with addiction. Their program makes a thorough evaluation of the patient, taking into account their many differences, and offering several options in treatment that allow the patient to find the most effective program for their needs. Rather than focusing on the symptoms of a person’s compulsive behavior, they concentrate on helping their patients uncover and address the underlying causes of their addictions in a positive manner. From rebuilding the body to repairing altered thought process and skewed perceptions, the Best Drug Rehabilitation program helps their patients through every step of the recovery process.
