Best in Show: 2015 Veterinary Awards Winners Revealed
Newtown Square, PA (PRWEB) January 19, 2015 -- Nominations for the 2015 Veterinary Awards poured in from every corner of the U.S. and Canada. But in the end, only six were named “top dog”—and nobody envied the judges.
Pet insurance provider Petplan hosted the fourth annual Veterinary Awards Dinner on January 18 at Orlando’s Four Seasons Resort, in tandem with the North American Veterinary Conference. The event shines a deserved spotlight on outstanding veterinary professionals across North America.

Thousands of passionate pet advocates were nominated by their peers and clients. Organizers narrowed the pack down to six semi-finalists per category, each of whom completed a rigorous application process. Three finalists were then selected by an independent judging panel of North America’s most tail-ented veterinary professionals, several past award winners among them. Winners of each category were revealed at the Awards Dinner.
In addition to the award, each winner received a $1,000 cash prize, a $1,000 donation to a pet-focused charity of their choice and wag-tastic prizes from Dog is Good, Tagg – The Pet Tracker, Furlocity.com, K9 FitClub, PetHub and more.
The event was emceed by Dr. Ernie Ward and attended by over 200 guests, including Vet Awards Judging Panelists Dr. Michael Cavanaugh of AAHA, Dr. Jane Brunt of CATalyst Counsel and keynote speaker Dr. Andy Roark.
