Best-selling Author Daniel Pink to Discuss the ABCs of Selling at Kauffman Founders School Live Event
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Every day, in many ways, each and every one of us is trying to persuade, influence and move others. In an upcoming Kauffman Founders School Live presentation held at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, best-selling author Daniel H. Pink will share valuable insights about how entrepreneurs can use their skills and personal qualities to be more successful salespeople.
During the live-streamed event, Pink will highlight insights from his book “To Sell is Human: The Surprising Truth About Moving Others,” offering a mix of social science, survey research and rich stories to illustrate the successful approach to persuasion. Pink’s book emphasizes that even people in non-sales jobs spend a great deal of time trying to persuade others. A study Pink commissioned showed that people spend 40 percent of their work time selling to or persuading others.
The event is part of the Kauffman Founders School Live series and is sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Big 3 MBA Alliance, Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management and Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program. The live stream presentation will take place at 6:30 p.m. CDT, April 29 at http://new.livestream.com/kauffmanfoundation/danielpink.
