BestWings Long Island Presents Winter Wings and BeerFest
Rockville Centre, NY (PRWEB) February 13, 2014 -- BestWings Long Island presents Winter Wings and BeerFest which will be held on Saturday, February 22 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Cannon's Blackthorn in Rockville Centre, conveniently located next to the LIRR at 49 N. Village Ave. For just twenty dollars patrons will receive a total of fifteen wings and thirty ounces of beer divided between five Long Island restaurants and three local breweries. Tickets should be purchased in advance at http://www.bestwingsli.com as the event is limited to three hundred wing and beer fans and will have a higher entry fee at the door.

Winter Wings and BeerFest, their debut event, is the ultimate combination of great Long Island Wings and Breweries. It will feature five restaurants and three breweries battling it out for the Winter Wings and Beer Cup. The award will go to the restaurant with the best wings and the brewery with the best beer. Celebrity chef, Johnny McLaughlin, from Food Network's Chopped and the mind behind Heartbreaking Dawns Hot Sauce will be on the Judges panel with the Best Wings team. Patrons will vote on their favorite wings and beer and be served wings from Hell's Kitchen Season 7 Celeb Chef, Nilka Hendricks, (North Village Tavern) as well as Long Island's Lord of the Wings, Danny Wiseman, from Even Flow Bar and Grill of Bay Shore. Other Restaurants include, Cannon's Blackthorn of Rockville Centre, The Beach House of Long Beach and Hurricane Grill and Wings of Garden City.
Breweries pouring two kinds of their best brew include, Long Ireland Beer Company of Riverhead, the newly opened Barrage Brewing Company of Farmingdale and Hollbrook’s Spider Bite Beer Company. Long Island’s premiere homebrew supply shop, Homebrews and Handgrenades of Baldwin, will be there pouring some selections of their crafted beer as well.
Best Wings LI has taken two of Long Island's most popular followings, wings and beer and brought them together in an awesome and creative foodie adventure to promote local businesses, drive the community and develop more awareness nationally of the rapidly booming Wing and Beer scene here on the Island.
