One of the most renowned integrated therapy centers in Beverly Hills, Innovative Speech & Language Pathology is offering free consultations and screenings for a limited time*. ISLP proudly provides the following services: speech therapy, accent modification, occupational therapy, sensory integration, feeding therapy, music therapy, mommy and me music groups (TalkBeat), Psychological evaluation for Autism or other disorders, advocacy, voice therapy, aphasia and cognitive rehabilitation as well as some functional/wholistic therapies such as NAET and Craniosacral therapy.
ISLP has served the Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Beverly Hills areas for nearly a decade and remains committed to their mission. Clients who are experiencing speech or language difficulties, reading/writing difficulties, balance issues, sensory issues, social pragmatic difficulties and/or communication deficits can receive a complimentary consultation to determine if there’s a need for further evaluations and/or concerns that must be addressed.
Theses consultations involve a 30 minute face-to-face or phone-conversation discussing the client’s concerns and/or areas of difficulty. An overview of the methods of treatment and need for further assessment as well as possible treatment options will be discussed.
In addition to complimentary consultations, Innovative is also offering free screenings that are in fact a “mini” assessment helpful in determining the need for further and more detailed evaluations. The screening process tests for fundamental problems in select categories, these include speech articulation, reading/writing comprehension, phonology, literary skills, fluency/stuttering, language processing difficulties, sensory processing issue and more. The therapist(s) will perform a short screening of specific areas of concern. The length of each screening is about 30-40 minutes long. They can be performed in multiple languages, including Spanish.
One of the company’s biggest passions in the field includes the work they provide for children. Today, a higher number of children are born with autism or disorders that affect their communication. ISLP has strived to build its center as a “one-stop-shop” for their client’s convenience. Screenings for children include a check for any symptoms that may indicate a disorder or red flags.
ISLP was established by Beverly Hills speech pathologist Odelia Mirzadeh, who is a licensed speech therapist with a clinical certificate from ASHA (American Speech-Hearing Association), and memberships from the American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association, Autism Society of America, the Voice Foundation of America, and the National Stuttering Association. She graduated from California State University Northridge with a BA and MS in Communication Disorders and also holds a minor in Music Therapy.
