BG Capital Group Sponsors Wild Waters, Silver Springs FL Grand Opening
Silver Springs, FLORIDA (PRWEB) June 09, 2015 -- Wild Waters water park, famous for its flume-style rides and family-friendly attractions, will host its grand opening celebration at 12 noon on Friday, June 12 at Wild Waters, 5656 East Silver Springs Blvd., in Silver Springs, Florida.
“One of the most thrilling new additions that guests will have access to is the new Wild Wave Surf Simulator Presented by http://www.Definitivetelevision.com and allow guests to ride interactively in a green screen booth for the ultimate surf experience,” said BG Capital Group Chairman Bobby Genovese who’s group was awarded a concession agreement for the park in 2014 as part of a three-year agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to assume concessionaire management of the park’s visitor services. “We are committed to providing Ocala residents and visitors with the finest recreation services available. We are pleased to be part of Wild Waters and look forward to a terrific summer.”
Also under Genovese’s BG Capital Group umbrella is the newly refurbished 50-room BG Sun Plaza, the area’s premiere boutique accommodation for guests of Wild Waters — and neighboring Silver Springs State Park — and will feature special “stay and play” packages.
The grand opening, sponsored and catered by Wild Waters’ official catering company, Savannah’s Catering, will showcase the park’s updated features and amenities, which include improvements to existing rides as well as several new park attractions.
Eight core water attractions remain the central appeal at Wild Waters, including The Silver Bullet, The Hurricane, The Wave Pool, Bunyon's Bend, Mini Monster, Osceola’s Revenge, Alligator Ambush, and The Cool Kids Cove, a premier child play area, featuring water slides, climb nets, splash pad play and a wading area.
In addition to the water attractions, Wild Waters is debuting several new activities, events and features: a new state of the art arcade, complete with 15 interactive machines, including dual play basketball, air hockey, dual racing games and classic pinball.
The attractions menu will include a few of Florida's most famous and fascinating reptiles as part of Kachunga, a new interactive, educational animal exhibit, featuring snakes, turtles and alligators. The Mark Robinson Comedy and Magician Show will also make its debut at the park this summer. Robinson's combination of music, comedy, magic, and audience participation has made him famous in his industry.
The scope of events at Wild Waters is expanding to include sand volleyball and tug of war tournaments on its lower beach deck and will be introducing its newest mascot, “Wiley Water”.
