BiblioBoard to Distribute Content From the National Film Board of Canada to U.S. Libraries and Schools
Charleston, South Carolina (PRWEB) July 10, 2015 -- BiblioBoard is excited to announce an agreement to host and distribute content from the esteemed National Film Board of Canada (NFB) on their unlimited multi-user platform. The collaborative effort between BiblioBoard and the NFB will see approximately 1,000 titles added to the platform, with plans to triple that number over the next five years.
The NFB has been the Canadian government’s leading film and media producer for nearly a century. It has produced over 13,000 films in both English and French and grossed over 5,000 awards since its inception, to include eight Webbys, 12 Academy Awards, 14 Canadian Screen Awards, and more than 90 Genies, an award for cinematic excellence given by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
