Bierhaus NYC Again Teams With All Pro Eating for 2nd Annual National Oktoberfest Bratwurst Eating Championship to be Held in New York City
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Bierhaus NYC made a significant Competitive Eating splash in 2012 when they announced the officially sanctioned National Oktoberfest Bratwurst Eating Championship. Building on the major success of last year, Bierhaus NYC once again announces this annual tradition which will be held on October 26, 2013. All Pro Eating will officially sanction this National Eating Championship which includes a $1,600.00 prize pool.
Well known as New York City’s Oktoberfest Headquarters, Bierhaus NYC continues to provide its customers and visitors an extremely unique and memorable way to celebrate Bavarian food, beer and culture. In addition to The Bierhaus NYC National Oktoberfest Bratwurst Eating Championship, there will be live music, traditional Masskrugstemmen competitions and keg tappings. The National Oktoberfest Bratwurst Eating Championship left a significant impression with the Competitive Eating fan base last year when Jamie “The Bear” McDonald ate thirty three bratwurst in eight minutes and established himself as the #1 Ranked Independent Competitive Eater in the World.

Several Professional Competitive Eaters have reserved their place at this Bratwurst Battle Part II including last year’s returning National Oktoberfest Bratwurst Eating Champion and current #1 Ranked Independent Competitive Eater, Jamie “The Bear” McDonald from Connecticut. Standing next to him will be the current #1 Ranked Female Independent Competitive Eater and #2 Overall Ranked Independent Competitive Eater, Molly Schuyler from Nebraska, who is the only person to have beaten McDonald in an officially sanctioned Independent Competitive Eating Championship. There will be significant talent long with these two Competitive Eating phenoms including last year’s second and third place finishers, Graham “The G-Man” Kist from Connecticut and David “Tiger Wings and Things” Brunelli from Pennsylvania.
