Bigfoot Scientists and Enthusiasts Gather in Ohio
Cambridge, Ohio (PRWEB) May 5, 2014 (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Creature Weekend is proud to announce that it will be holding its 2014 conference at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio on May 17, 2014. Five prominent bigfoot researchers will be speaking at this conference in May; the presenters include Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Bill Munns, John Mionczynski, Tim Stover and Doug Waller. Dr. Meldrum is a Professor of Anthropology at Idaho State University, the author of “Bigfoot: Legend Meets Science” and a prominent researcher and academic featured in various bigfoot documentaries. He will be joined by Bill Munns, a Hollywood special effects expert who has studied and scrutinized the famous Patterson Gimlin film. Bill will be bringing to light new revelations about the famous bigfoot film taken at Bluff Creek, California in 1967. Mr. Munns will be enlightening the audience with a special presentation on the “Science of Hoaxing and Hoax Detection”. John Mionczynski is a trained wildlife biologist who has spent countless hours on solo expeditions in the mountains studying grizzly bear, sheep and mountain goat populations. His Bigfoot encounter in 1972 has led him on a lifelong pursuit to unravel the mystery of bigfoot. Tim Stover is a bigfoot researcher from Ohio who will be sharing some selected pieces of evidence he has collected while doing research in the Buckeye State. Doug Waller, the Director of the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation, will be sharing the latest eyewitness reports of bigfoot activity (as recently as last year) in Southeastern Ohio. The conference will feature vendors and a special presentation by the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society. The PBS presentation is free to the public and will begin at 10AM.
