Biggest Gluten Free Event to Hit Northern California
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Oct. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Mark your calendars! The Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo is returning to Northern California. The event will take over the San Mateo County Event Center November 18-19.
The Expo, presented by Udi's and Glutino, is ideal for those following a gluten or allergen-free diet, and will feature some very special guests:
- Muffin Revolution, a Bay Area wholesale, Gluten-Free/Paleo baking company, will be exhibiting at booth #404. Muffin Revolution muffins are 100% grain free, sweetened only with dates and are loaded with flavor. Visit their website to find these muffins in a grocery store near you.
- Bitchin' Sauce, creators of the first almond-based dip, will be exhibiting at booth #308. Their sauces are entirely gluten free, vegan and Non-GMO with a line of six totally Bitchin' flavors ranging from mild lemon-garlic to scorching habanero and ghost chili.
- Bread SRSLY, a local company dedicated to making seriously delicious and wildly nourishing gluten-free, vegan sourdough, will be exhibiting at booth #605. They will be sampling and selling their sourdough loaves and rolls, all of which are allergy-friendly, made from organic ingredients, and wild fermented.
- Buck Wild is California's first 100% gluten-free craft beer. Made from organic buckwheat and millet, Buck Wild was born out of a passion to craft a gluten-free beer that tastes exactly like a great beer should.
The Expo will allow attendees to sample and purchase hundreds of gluten-free products, meet with local and national brands, receive coupons and attend informative presentations sponsored by Dr. Schar USA. On Saturday, the Expo is partnering with medical professionals from Stanford Health Care to provide top-notch educational classes.
"It's really exciting to be in a room where you can try everything," said Expo Founder Jen Cafferty. "You'll sample everything from pizza, bread and decadent baked goods to healthier options like bars and granola. One little boy was so happy to see all of the samples he exclaimed, 'It's like a gluten-free Disneyland!'"
While all products at the Expo are gluten free, many exhibitors will also showcase products free from the top eight allergens. The event also features a dedicated area for nut-free products sponsored by Enjoy Life Foods.
The Expo is a fun, community-based event where you can bring the whole family. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. A one-day ticket is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
