BIGGEST GLUTEN FREE EVENT TO HIT SAN DIEGO
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Jan. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Picture a place where everything is gluten free. The Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo is just the place, and is returning to the Del Mar Fairgrounds February 10-11.
The Expo allows attendees to sample and purchase hundreds of gluten-free products, meet with local and national brands, receive special coupons, and attend informative presentations by top-notch speakers.
The Expo, presented by Enjoy Life Foods, is ideal for those following a gluten or allergen-free diet, and will feature some very special guests:
- 2Good2b, a local San Diego bakery, will be exhibiting at booth #200. This gourmet gluten, corn and soy-free bakery and café will be sampling their award-winning baked goods, in addition to selling breads, sandwiches, pies, sweets and more.
- Barons Market is an organic, natural and specialty food neighborhood market with locations in San Diego and Southwest Riverside Counties. Barons carries the top gluten-free brands at great prices and organizes them in one central location in each store to make it easy to find for gluten-free shoppers!
- Rickaroons, a local San Diego coconut energy bar company, will be exhibiting at the Expo. Rickaroons are a healthy snack designed to satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you moving. Rickaroons are always gluten free, vegan, organic, soy free, and non-GMO (and family owned!)
- NATTi Bar is all the goodness of a banana in an on-the-go healthy snack. Made of natural dehydrated bananas and loaded with nutrients, NATTi Bar comes in three flavors: original, dark chocolate, and cacao nibs. Grab a bunch at the Expo!
"It's really exciting to be in a room where you can try everything," said Expo Founder Jen Cafferty. "You'll sample everything from pizza, bread and decadent baked goods to healthier options like bars and probiotic drinks. One little boy was so happy to see all of the samples he exclaimed, 'It's like a gluten-free Disneyland!'"
While all products at the Expo are gluten free, many exhibitors will also showcase products free from the top eight allergens. The event also features a dedicated area for nut-free products.
The Expo is a fun, community-based event where you can bring the whole family. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. A one-day ticket is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
