Bike and Roll DC Opening New National Mall Location
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- After 11 successful years at the Old Post Office Pavilion, Bike and Roll DC is excited to announce that they will be relocating tour operations to 955 L'Enfant Plaza.
Since opening doors, Bike and Roll has offered DC visitors and locals exceptionally guided bicycle tours and rentals. In 2012, Bike and Roll DC expanded their inventory by introducing Sites by Segway tours, which have been met with measurable success for the past two seasons.
The evolution of the Bike and Roll brand will continue in 2014. The former National Mall location will be moved due to the Old Post Office Pavilion's conversion into a hotel by Trump Hotel Collection; excavation of the historic building begins in spring of 2014. The prospect of relocation has been met with excitement by Bike and Roll owners, employees, customers, and locals alike. Bike and Roll DC is thrilled to continue operations at the new L'Enfant Plaza location.
L'Enfant Plaza is a noted historic complex located just south of the National Mall in the flourishing Southwest quadrant of Washington, DC. The Plaza is located a block from Independence Avenue, between 9th and 12th streets SW. Named for Pierre Charles L'Enfant, the Plaza's look and architectural plan was designed by famed architect, I.M. Pei.

Bike and Roll DC's 2014 Season kicks off on March 8th at this brand new location, with official National Cherry Blossom Festival tours (Blossoms by Bike, Blossoms by Bike River Ride, and Segway into Spring) beginning March 22nd. This will be the eleventh consecutive year Bike and Roll DC has offered official National Cherry Blossom tours, which are now available for booking.
