Mr. Carter joined Jaco Products in 1993 and since that time has held multiple roles throughout the company and expanding the business from their 1948 roots as a progressive stamper of electrical insulation components. Carter has been instrumental in evolving Jaco’s business from stamping to cutting edge plastic production processes that allow Jaco to produce parts that other injection molders and CNC machining companies declined to quote.
In 2006, Carter was promoted to sales manager where he grew the high-tolerance, complex plastic component side of Jaco’s business. Drawing on his extensive manufacturing background, Carter developed creative solutions to “no quote” jobs using a combination of CNC plastic machining and injection molding. Carter embraced the challenge and steadily built this side of the business. Today, Jaco has a national reputation as the “go to” plastic fabricator for tough parts.
In his new role, Carter will be overseeing all aspects of the business and continue on Jaco’s path to lead the industry in producing parts that engineers need for their product design but that other molders say are impossible to produce.
