Billingsley Company and Marathon Health Announce Relationship to Provide Onsite Healthcare to Business Tenants
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 18, 2016 -- Marathon Health, Inc. today announced its selection as the onsite medical services provider for business tenants at Billingsley Company’s new Cypress Waters development in Dallas.
Marathon Health will provide medical and health promotion services to the employees of Billingsley Company and Cypress Waters tenants electing to participate at a conveniently located health center. 7-Eleven is the anchor tenant for Marathon Health’s services. The 7-Eleven employees began receiving care in April of this year.
This arrangement presents a new model for worksite care. The model is a shared health center dedicated to meeting the medical needs of multiple employers who are co-located in a business park, development or high rise office building.
“We believe this relationship will serve as a prototype for offering high-value health care services to a greater number of employers who otherwise may not be large enough for a health center of their own,” said Marathon Health Vice President of Sales Eric Schrumpf. “This shared services model is a solution that brings together property managers and their corporate clients in a collaboration to help solve the issues of convenient access and cost-effective medical care.”
Billingsley Company’s Cypress Waters is a 1,000-acre mixed use development located 5 minutes from DFW Airport. Marathon Health will provide primary care, health coaching and chronic condition coaching to employees of tenants electing to participate.
“As a development and property management company, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance the value our tenants receive from their investment in our communities,” said Chris Elliott, Director of Human Resources. “By working with Marathon Health, we are providing value to our tenants that goes well beyond the traditional property manager and tenant relationship. This model of care helps our corporate tenants and their employees gain access to high-quality care while reducing their healthcare costs. It’s a win for all of us.”
