Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA) Launches New Online Community for Treatment Providers & Individuals
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- The Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA) has launched the BEDA Hive, a new online community for people who treat, research, or are touched by binge eating disorder (BED). The BEDA Hive provides a safe, supportive place for people to seek and share information about, opinions on, and personal experiences with BED.
"Very early in my journey toward recovery from binge eating disorder, when I began to seek out resources and support, I realized there was nowhere for me to go where I felt people truly understood BED and what I was going through—and where I felt comfortable,” said BEDA Founder, President and CEO Chevese Turner. “The BEDA Hive has been several years in the making, so we're both excited and proud to provide what we hope will become a sort of base camp for those who experience BED—whether they have BED or know someone who does, treat the disorder, or are just interested in supporting this community in some way.”
BEDA Hive offers a range of membership types to professionals, individuals, students, businesses and organizations, as well as free limited-access memberships.
Within the BEDA Hive, dues-paying members can access a wide variety of features and resources, including:
Interactive forums
News and newsletters
Profile management
Provider directory
Career center
Community blog
Recovery stories
Photo gallery
Event registration and information
Surveys and quizzes

Special offers
The BEDA Hive is a membership portal that runs parallel to the BEDA website and is accessed from the menu bar or directly at members.bedaonline.com.
