Bird B Gone Now Offers Widest Variety of Bird Spikes
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- Bird B Gone bird spikes have been recognized worldwide as an effective anti-perching, anti-roosting bird deterrent. Most spikes feature a built-in glue tough and pre-drilled mounting holes to simplify installation using commercially available glues, screws or tie downs. The spikes are blunted at the tips so they won’t harm birds, curious pets or installers, and they have been approved by a number of humane groups—including the U.S. Humane Society. Bird B Gone’s ever-growing variety of bird spikes now includes:
Polycarbonate Bird Spikes. These come in three different splay widths—3-, 5- and 7-inch—to provide increasingly wider areas of deterrence. The base of the spiked strip is just 1.5 inches wide, which allows for easy installation on narrow surfaces. The spiked strip is fully flexible, which enables the strip to “follow” curved surfaces. These spikes also come in a variety of colors—including crystal clear, white, brick red, light grey, brown, black and concrete tan.
Stainless Steel Bird Spikes. Available in two-foot sections, with up to 40 spikes per foot, these rugged bird spikes come in 1-, 3-, 5- and 8-inch splay widths to provide increasingly wider areas of protection—up to 10 inches wide. They feature a patented “bend-and-crush” design, so the spikes remain firmly embedded in an unbreakable UV-protected polycarbonate base. The spiked strip’s flexible base can bend a full 360 degrees, which means it can easily “follow” a variety of curved mounting surfaces.
Stainless Steel Girder Spikes. Uniquely designed to prevent larger pest birds from landing, roosting and nesting on girders and I-beams, these bird spikes are available in 3”, 5” or 8” splay widths. Attached gird clamps adapt to any size girder up to 1” thick. Ideal for use in lofty areas where the clean up of debris or droppings is not possible.
Stainless Steel Gutter Spikes. Specifically designed to prevent birds from landing, roosting and nesting in rain gutters and gutter ledges, these spikes provide an effective area of deterrence—from four to six inches wide. Each two-foot spiked strip section comes with three stainless steel “C” clamps along the base, which connect to the lip of the gutter. The clamps are thumbscrew adjustable and will adapt to both wide and narrow gutters.
Stainless Steel Mega Spikes. Built to prevent large pest birds from landing, roosting and nesting in problem areas, these tall spikes provide an effective area of deterrence from three to seven inches wide. They are ideal for keeping large birds like seagulls, cormorants, vultures and raptors off ledges, I-beams, parapet walls, conduits and pipes.
