Birthday Celebration for Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard Highlights Epic Reach of His Legacy
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- As thousands gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for the annual birthday celebration for Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, guests celebrated what has been an unprecedented year for forward progress for Scientology and its humanitarian outreach which continues to create a profound and everlasting positive influence in communities across the globe.
The tribute included L. Ron Hubbard now among the “100 Most Significant Americans of All Time” as proclaimed by the Smithsonian Institution. Further accolades were presented by the famed Explorers Club of New York, of which Mr. Hubbard was a member and led 3 expeditions under their flag; the Los Angeles Police Department where he served as a Special Officer in 1948; and the Order of the Arrow, the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. In all Mr. Hubbard has received honors from every facet of society both on a local, regional and international scale, not only for his religious philosophy but also his accomplishments as a writer, educator, humanitarian, master mariner, explorer and many more totaling over 5,000 recognitions and awards as of March 2015.
An audio visual presentation followed featuring stories from Mr. Hubbard’s adventurous life where he amassed research that formed the basis of his religious philosophy Scientology and his humanitarian works. His research spanned more than a quarter of a century where he traversed the United States, the Caribbean and Asia before publishing Dianetics and several years on the founding of the Scientology religion.
The much anticipated finale featured the presentation of a special award to The Church of Scientology of Los Angeles commemorating their profound speed of expansion. Their Church now stands as the Model Church of Scientology internationally to which all other strive. The purpose each Church of Scientology carries is embodied in the aims of Scientology first announced by L. Ron Hubbard in 1965, “A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.”
