Bizagi BPM announces winner of #FlyMeBizagi competition
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 29 May 2014 -- Colombian engineer, Mauricio Mendoza, was named the winner of Bizagi’s online competition to win flights to Brazil.
In a closely fought race between the top three contestants (Mauricio Mendoza, Olga Fragozo & Julian Mendoza) the winner topped #FlyMeBizagi’s Scoreboard with 929 points, winning the two tickets which will fly Mendoza and a partner to Rio to watch Colombia play.
“I’ve wanted to go to a World Cup to watch my country since I was a boy. So to have won the flights through Bizagi’s online competition was a dream come true.”
Bizagi, who kicked off #FlyMeBizagi back in January, launched a referral scheme offering subscribers points on its Scoreboard in return for downloads of its freemium software.
As a result, the company attracted over 2,500 downloads across five continents, adding fresh subscribers of both its process modeling and process automation solutions to Bizagi’s 150,000-strong user community.
Mendoza, a Cadastral Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, first learnt about Bizagi in 2011 and has been using Bizagi Process Modeler extensively to build process maps and document business processes.
Using Modeler, he has been able to expose projects to senior management and executives, as well as to teach and explain the company´s business processes to members of his team.
“Bizagi Modeler is a very good tool and really easy to use. It’s amazing that you can both model and automate your processes for free and I’ll definitely continue to recommend it.”
