Bizwaremagic Goes Mobile-Friendly

When Google announced in February that it would update its mobile search algorithm to give "mobile-friendly" sites higher rankings in their search results, Bizwaremagic, like thousands of other sites - simply had to act.
While there are other options, mobile-friendly means a webpage has the same URL for mobile and desktop, but is responsive and can be seen/displayed regardless of the screen size. In other words, a responsive website presents easy-to-click links and larger text so that content can be read or viewed on any device.
Considering all design options, Bizwaremagic chose to go with the Bootstrap platform. Bootstrap is a powerful, sleek mobile-first web platform developed by Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton at Twitter and was originally called the Twitter Blueprint. It's a front end open-source collection of tools (HTML, CSS, Fonts, JavaScripts, Templates...) needed to create and manage a website.

Speculation is running high that Google's upcoming changes to its mobile search listings could be very significant. Given the fact that over 50% of searches are now done on mobile devices, the resulting fallout for websites could be bigger than the Panda and Penguin Updates.
Fortunately, unlike those other updates, fixing any "mobile-friendly" problems can be relatively easy to do. Google even provides an online tool where site owners can check their webpages to see if they are friendly/viewable in mobile devices. Since Google controls a large portion of the search market, it must be catered to with special attention. Besides, having a mobile-friendly website that everyone can access and use on any device, simply makes for good business.
