Denver, CO (PRWEB) February 29, 2016 -- Black Cube, a nomadic contemporary art museum based in Denver, is partnering with Leisure Gallery to feature a virtual public lecture by controversial LA–based art collector Stefan Simchowitz. Dubbed "The Art World's Patron Satan" by the New York Times Magazine, Simchowitz is a 44-year-old movie producer (best known for producing ‘Requiem for a Dream’), Internet entrepreneur, and industrial scion, who over the last seven years has pursued a manic quest to assemble the world’s most lucrative collection of emerging contemporary art. The virtual lecture will take place on March 10 at 7:00 P.M. at Leisure Gallery, 555 Santa Fe in Denver,

Stefan will be sharing his ideas about the art market, cutting out dealers, and collecting art from young ‘hot’ artists fresh out of school. Cortney Stell, Black Cube Executive Director and Chief Curator said, “This year, in addition to our artist fellow pop up exhibitions, Black Cube plans to bring several visiting critics and lectures to the community to stimulate art discourse and expand our thinking about the world around us. Stefan is the first, and you can expect several more exciting industry experts to follow in 2016.”

The event is free and open to the public and does not require an RSVP to attend.
