Black Knight Termite & Pest Control Collects Donations for Young Cancer Survivor
Menifee, Ca (PRWEB) February 07, 2015 -- Black Knight Termite & Pest Control has stepped up to help make a brave little boy’s backyard a safe place for him to play. Kane, an 8-year-old from Menifee, CA, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his left femur in 2013. After an above-the-knee amputation, Kane was able to beat the cancer threatening his bones. Kane still faces many challenges due to the amputation, though. The team at Black Knight is donating labor and raising funds to build a custom backyard for Kane’s family, complete with playground and swimming equipment, but they still need help to complete this special project.
Random acts of kindness are rare, but that hasn’t stopped Black Knight employees from donating their time and making the most of any donations already received for Kane’s cause. They’re close to completing a custom-built fort and hope to put in an above-ground pool, artificial turf, pole lights, cantilever umbrellas, and tables. While the pest control Temecula company is donating labor to make the backyard usable for Kane, his family still needs more equipment to make this happen.
