Black Pinup Girl-themed Gift Store Noir Go Go Vows Stockings Will Be Stuffed This Holiday Season
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) December 05, 2013 -- Christmas cards, compact mirrors, magnets Oh My! This holiday season, the world’s one and only Black Pinup Girl-themed gift store plans to be a one stop shop for stocking stuffers, Secret Santa gifts, and more.
With a new tote bag, magnet, compact mirror, and Christmas card, they are poised to do just that.
“It’s always fun to create and launch new products during the holidays. Everyone is ready to be wowed and it’s gratifying to come up with awesome, playful items that do just that!” says K.C. Washington, the owner and designer of the three year old online store.
“I love the new “Billie Bag”. It’s versatile and great for all seasons, although I plan to rock mine during the summer,” says loyal, longtime customer Debbie Pignetti Ganz.
The new compact mirror in elegant black, featuring “Travel Quinn”, a magnet with the ever popular “Belle” and the saying “Naughty Is The New Nice”, and another magnet with Noir’s main pinup Charlie and the old school saying “The Blacker The Berry The Sweeter The Juice,” joins a catalog that has been carefully and lovingly honed to answers the demands of a growing fan base. And whether someone sends a sassy greeting card, brightens up their kitchen with a magnet or rocks the “Billie Bag” spring, summer, fall, or winter, Noir A-Go Go plans on being the one consumers turn to!
About Owner and Designer K.C. Washington
K.C. launched Noir A-Go Go in January 2011, with the idea that something was missing within the American pinup girl genre, namely women of color. So she decided to put what she calls a sepia spin on the beloved genre and Noir A-Go Go was born. Convinced that the world is more than familiar with the image of African Americans fighting for their rights during the Civil Rights era, she wants to show another image from that time---one of glamour and wit. A Mellon Fellow and a novelist with a background in journalism and literary and historical fiction, K.C. has raised the curtain on a world of beautiful, empowered, stylish women (and a few men) and placed them on everything from magnets and tee shirts to tote bags and greeting cards, with more to come as she expands.
