Black Temple Releases First Single “Godzilla”
(PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- Electric metal artist Black Temple has released “Godzilla” today, the project's first single. The song is now available on iTunes, Google Play, and other online retailers and will be released alongside a music video filmed in L.A.
The mid-tempo track tells the story of a love game between a heart-breaking beauty and an egoistic beast. The man, who has never been close to losing himself to anyone, finds his match, his heart left finally in a woman’s hands.
The powerful whispering vocals and expressive, poetic lyrics are sung by "Tang,” the project's performing artist.
The single’s music video is infused with a Gothic style and set to imagery of a man screaming for his lover at the top of his lungs during a perfect storm before ending up in a dungeon with her for the tragic finale.
"I’m really happy that this single is finally out after such a long, hard process with a lot of experimentation and craziness behind it,” Tang said. “‘Godzilla’ is definitely the first song made exactly the way I want my music to be. Along with the music video, I think we pulled it off nicely. I am proud and lucky to have such great people backing me up. It’s the most amazing feeling ever."

Black Temple was founded by Tang, who has been working with many musicians and producers to discover the sound he had dreamed of since childhood, a mix of rock and electronic. In the fall of 2012, the project caught the ear of the UK's mainstream music producer Colin Leggett, who has worked with acts such as Vangelis and Hans Zimmer. In 2013, Leggett accepted to produce “Godzilla,” and the single was mixed together by Adrian Hall, who has worked with Robbie Williams, Alicia Keys, and Slipknot.
