Blickman Industries Selects The Copley Consulting Group and Infor ERP to Help Power Business Process Improvement
WOBURN, Mass. (PRWEB) June 25, 2018 -- The Copley Consulting Group, an Infor Gold level Channel partner, announced that Blickman Industries, a leading provider of stainless steel and chrome solutions to the healthcare industry since 1889, has selected The Copley Consulting Group to implement the Infor CloudSuite™ Industrial (CSI) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution across its organization in an effort to improve business processes and enhance customer service.
As a provider of stainless steel and chrome cabinets, stools, hampers, and other solutions for the medical field, Blickman wanted to improve upon the very labor-intensive, manual processes it had in place. The company had low visibility into what was happening on the shop floor, with almost no insight into how the engineering drawings on the floor were being translated into final product.

With Infor CSI and implementation services from Copley, Blickman plans to put in place new systems that are designed to help drive the business forward and help automate processes on the shop floor. The roll out of a new barcode inventory solution can help Blickman better track materials in the production cycle. Blickman also plans to integrate the new ERP system with its SolidWorks® CAD software for the passthrough of bill of materials in support of new product development. Finally, the new installation is also expected to allow Blickman to support electronic records and signatures, which can greatly improve embedded quality throughout the production process.
